Brent Allen
WORSHIP MINISTER
There is nothing Brent loves more than hanging out with his family and friends and playing board games!! He and his wife, Amberly, have three amazing kids, so they are currently spending the majority of their free time at practices, games, school events, etc., and they love it…most of the time. Not only is Brent a worship minister, he is also an entrepreneur and owns a State Farm Insurance agency here in town. He feels God has called him to be a light at Westover, but also in the business world, and he tries every day to allow God to use him with his team and his customers.

He was drawn to children’s ministry raising his own three girls. Adam is married to his collaborator in crime, and loves sharing life with her. When he’s not hanging out with kids, he loves great adventures and skating into the sunset.
-

Denise Black
CHILDREN’S MINISTER
Denise moved to Austin and became part of the Westover family in 1997. She has been on staff now since 2008. Her favorite part of the week is greeting the children and families as they arrive on a Sunday morning for worship. Denise and her husband, Adam, have three grown daughters and four beautiful granddaughters.

Kevin Bolton
ADMINISTRATIVE MINISTER
Kevin enjoys serving the Westover family and the rhythm of Austin’s active lifestyle. While he is fond of making sure everything is ready for those God sends our way, he looks most forward to greeting both new and familiar faces each week. He and his wife, Nancie, raised both their children, Aryn and McKenzie, in Austin. In addition to ministry, Kevin loves listening to tech podcasts while running or cycling to stay fit.

Dusty and his wife, Cecily, made Westover their church home in the fall of 2024. Prior to that, Dusty served in ministry at Pepperdine University where he completed his undergraduate and graduate studies. Dusty and Cecily place a high value on Christian community and relationships, with friendships spanning the country and globe. Dusty feels most in his element when lifting weights at a CrossFit gym or having a meaningful conversation with a friend while sipping quality third wave coffee. He and Cecily love to camp, travel internationally, and host small groups in their home. He considers becoming a girl dad his greatest adventure to-date (Lulu, born in May of 2025).

Nancy Dowdle
ADMIN TO SENIOR MINISTER
One of the busiest places at Westover is the church office, where Nancy has been serving since January 2003. Nancy has served the church for many years in many capacities and is currently the Administrative Assistant to the Sr. Minister. She is passionate to extend the love of Christ to all those that call or come through the Westover doors. Nancy has enjoyed living in Texas most of her life, but as a native Iowan, misses the changing seasons. One of her favorite pastimes is watching movies, and traveling with her family—two adult children, Emilee and Callie, and wonderful husband, Brent.

Danielle Hejl
ADMIN TO CHILDREN’S MINISTERS
Danielle stays busy with her incredible family and friends. She loves to spend her down time hiking with her husband, watching her stepsons play soccer, reading mostly fiction, and eating Kerbey Lane pancakes. She’s been a part of Westover since 2009, and on started on staff with the Children’s and Young Adult ministries in 2011. She enjoys the randomness of her varied tasks - no two days are ever the same - and loves that she gets to use her gifts in service to God and the family at Westover.

Ramjaane Joshua

Ramjaane grew up in Rwanda (East Africa) before moving to the United States in 2016. He is married to Gentille and they have three amazing kids (Vanessa, Holy and Kendrick). Before moving to the United States, Ramjaane was well known in East Africa as an actor/comedian, appearing on TV and as a radio host in Kigali (Rwanda). He spends most of his time helping the African community here in Austin and believes that, through his talent, he can make the world smile! Ramjaane also does interpretation/translation in French, Swahili, and Kinyarwanda. He loves playing soccer, watching movies and traveling.

Andrew Lang
MIDDLE SCHOOL MINISTER
Ministry is weird. It’s so good, but still weird. So, Austin seems a good place to do ministry. Being called to a life of being invited into people’s mess is a unique way to live a life, but it’s the way Jesus lived. So, even while Andrew is eating good food in good places, writing stories that are probably not very good, or standing in a crowd while listening to good live music, he tries to do that—living this weird life of ministry that is just so good. Andrew also received his master’s in counseling from St. Edward’s University in 2023 and sees clients at The Center for Relational Care. You can view his profile here »

Luke Norsworthy
SENIOR MINISTER
Luke met his wife Lindsay, a Leander high school grad, while he was earning his undergrad and graduate degrees at Abilene Christian University. Lindsay quickly converted Luke to being a fan of Austin. He loves eating Torchy’s tacos, reading, fitness and trying to keep up with their three daughters. Luke’s hope is that all sermons are accessible, interesting, and point towards the God who is with you and for you.

Tricia Parker
BUILDING COORDINATOR
Tricia has been Westover’s Building Coordinator since 2022 and a member of Westover since 2009. She is married to Jason and has 3 children who have all grown up at Westover. She and her family have been blessed by so many Westover ministries including the Children’s and Youth ministries. She is happy to give back to the Westover family by helping to coordinate events at Westover and help with Westover office hospitality and reception.

Kathrine Pimentel
HIGH SCHOOL MINISTER
Kathrine was born and raised in Austin. She is the proud wife of Christian and mama of three hilarious little girls, London, Imogen, and Brighton, who keep her on her toes. After serving as a middle school teacher and counselor for several years, she joined her husband as a youth minister. If she’s not crying about a sappy commercial or talking to people about Jesus, you can find her dancing in her living room, singing in her car, daydreaming outside, writing, looking for something she lost, or snuggling with her family on the couch.
-

Christian Pimentel
EXECUTIVE MINISTER
Christian was born and raised in Austin, and is thankful to consider it his lifelong home. He loves seeking answers to life’s most important questions over a cup of coffee with friends. While his work with teens at Westover has been aided through his study of Theology and Counseling, he considers his partnership in ministry with his wife, Kathrine, and the love of his daughters, London, Imogen, and Brighton, to be among God’s greatest gifts to him.

He and his lovely wife of over 20 years, Ava, live in SW Austin with their three children, Emily, Josh, and surprise-blessing, baby Eli.
