Austin is a large city, so what happens when someone at church is recovering from surgery and needs a meal train but they live across town from you (an hour drive in traffic)? Our solution for making this big city feel small is to divide Austin up into geographic Zones. People in the same zone show up for one another in neighborly ways—dropping off a meal when a new baby arrives, checking in during inclement weather or when someone in the house is sick.
