Jan. 3, 2002 Dear Friends, I hope you have all had a joyful Christmas break. It is also my prayer that the year 2002 will be filled with blessings for you all and especially that you may grow closer to Christ during this year. I am excited to share the news of answered prayers with you. You may recall that we asked for prayers for Niipak Laar, one of our Ghanaian co-workers, in our recent newsletter. He was suffering from frequent severe siezures apparently caused by a brain tumor. It was expected that his plans to further his education would be delayed at the least as he would be needing brain surgery. The doctors are now saying that it was actually probably a cyst that seems to now be reducing on its own. Niipak will be starting his semester later this month,as scheduled, at Nationwide Bible Institute in Accra. Praise God!, and thank you for your prayers in Niipak's behalf.
