Dear friends,
The village church leaders are allowing me to speak to their five baptismal candidates soon. They want me to help these people (and possibly others) to understand what they are doing from a biblical perspective. Please pray that I will do a good job. It will be my biggest project in the Tawala language thus far, and I have already done a lot of work in preparation.
Also, please pray for my meeting tomorrow night--Thursday morning by American time--with the village church leaders. We will discuss the upcoming baptismal class to make sure that there are no unhealthy surprises. Based on what I know of these leaders, I expect this meeting to provide a strong foundation for unity in Christ. Pray that I will not be presumptuous, and that they will see me as a help and not as a threat. Most of all, pray that God will bring honor to Himself.
