Dear friends,

Most of our work involves teaching people about God's love, but we often wish we had more time to demonstrate that love by teaching them to help themselves in physical ways. We have started collecting publications about how third-world people can improve their lives, like how they can grow more vegetables on less land, or how they can make cookstoves that use less firewood. Diane and some friends recently went through a step-by-step basket-weaving guide (sent by Diane's mother), as you can see in the picture. The publications are hard for the people to read themselves, but when someone will go through it with them step by step, they really enjoy it. And there are many other simple things we could do that would significantly improve people's standard of living--if only there were enough time. Please join us in asking God for more workers and resources for these people.

Love, Marcus (with Diane, Hannah, and Hadassah Reese)
