Oi, My name is Angelina. It was so cool to come to another country! It was scary at first,but then it was really fun. I know that there are a lot of people here that need God's help. Anyway I, go to a Brazilian school where only Portuguese is spoken. The name of my school is CAP. That is pronounced "Copy". I have several English speaking friends who help me get around and meet people. School begins for me at 1:30 P.M. and ends at 6:30p.m. Another group of kids go in the morning. The teachers are off for 2 hours to have lunch. That way more kids can be in school without the building being too crowded. I am out of school right now because it is summer break. The summer is from December to February. So, when all of my friends in the states are out for summer, I will be in. Now I am out while they have to go back after Christmas. Now that we are on break I sometimes I go to the mall with my friends. That is just like in the states. We have devo's some nights at my house. Sometimes when I'm home I watch tv. We have satelite so I am able to watch in English. I also, read the captions at the bottom to help with my language. I'm in Portuguese classes three mornings a week and they are really a lot of fun. I am the oldest one in our youth group. We do things together like go to the beach and play games at the church and relax together. Right now we are all practicing hard for a performance of the story of Jesus' life in song. We are going to perform at church and at a nursing home in the city. Also, we hope to perform for a children's home in a nearby town. All of us are becoming very close to each other even though we do not speak the same language yet. It's real fun being in another country because you learn another language and you talk about God to other people who don't know about him,When I miss my friends in U.S.A , I just think stop and think to myself that this is God's will and that some day I will see all my friends here and there. There are a lot of things in U.S.A that are also here in Natal! Some of our music is the same and the kids like to do the same things. It's fun to be with kids here. It gives me pleasure to help kids my age. Some people thought I was crazy but they did not know God's plan for me. God takes care of making you and your family happy. Never forget that wherever you are God is watching over you and He is with you.GOD LOVES YOU SO MUCH!!!! In Christ's love always, Angelina
