VIPi's are third, fourth and fifth graders at Westover. During the school year they meet on the second Sunday of each month from 12:00-2:30 for their monthly "picnic." This is a special time when they eat together, sing (please delete), share in special learning centers including computers, and have a good time learning about God's word and His work today. In
addition, they are involved in service projects and other activities preparing for leadership. During the summer, they have the opportunity to go to VIP Camp and "Learning to Lead" Camp at ACU.

In addition, the VIPi's carry out a monthly change offering to support their own mission emphasis. Last year they chose to support mission efforts in Papua New Guinea, Zimbabwe and Nicaragua and here at home in projects for the homeless, those affected by Katrina, and individuals served by Freedom Church and InKind. They have assisted all of our  missionaries over the years and have sent VIP's and former VIP's on short-term campaigns.

The VIPi's are led by Sharon Hughes, Laura Schroeder and Duane and Lisa Waddill, who are assisted by parent
volunteers.
