So why pungent? 2 Corinthians 2:15 says "For we are to God the aroma of Christ among those who are being saved and those who are perishing. To the one we are the smell of death; to the other, the fragrance of life." This is a bold verse and we believe God calls us to live bold lives. Pungent means having a sharply strong taste or smell. Part of being an authentic follower of Christ means living a life that is pungent with the aroma of Christ. This may sound wierd but God never called us to be normal.
