Thank You from Caring Hands
Thank you Westover for once again showing your love and care for those in need by contributing to our Food Drive. Also, a big THANKS to all the kids and parents that helped. What great servant hearts you have! If you weren't able to bring your sack of food on Sunday, you may drop it off at the church office any time.
Singles Ministry Fellowship & Dinner
Our next Singles fellowship and dinner will be May 13th at 6:30pm in the Family Room. Marcus & Diane Reese, our missionaries from Papua New Guinea, will be speaking. Babysitting is provied for those with children.

Ken Young, the Guadalupe River and an amazing time for our families are just a few of the highlights of great times at the Ranch. Mo registration forms are at the Welcome Center or for any questions contact Lisa or Jeff Johnson @ 261-8336 or Cindy or Chris Freeman @ 258-3015.
Save the Date - November 7-9
The 2008 Ladies Retreat, will be at the John Newcombe Tennis Ranch in New Braunfels. Joyce Hardin & Terra Brimberry speakers.
VOLUNTEERS Needed
We have two ministry areas that are in need of volunteers:
1) Communion Prep - this takes a little time each week and is open to both men and women. Fore more details please contact Phyllis Catoe at 215-0052 or pscatoe@yahoo.com
2) Refilling Cards - join the special group of quiet servants that help refilling the cards in the song racks. Teams are already in place and we just need one or two more helpers. Contact Nancy at the church office (345-6386) or nancy@westover.org if you have any questions or can help out.
Attention all parents. Are you receiving the latest news from the children's or youth ministries? If not, email Denise Black (0-5th grade), Christian Pimentel (6-8th grade) or Josh Johnson (9-12th grade) to be included on the list-serve.
Westover E-News
In order to better communicate and prevent duplication of emails from Westover, a church-wide listserve has been created for all Westover members. This e-news letter will be only used for announcements: 1) appropriate for the majority of our members and/or are of an urgent nature (i.e. changes due to inclement weather, etc..). If you are subscribed to a specific ministry's email list (i.e. children's ministry or youth), you will continue to receive those emails.
