Time Change this Weekend!
Don't forget to turn your clocks one hour forward and be on time Sunday morning!
|
Wednesday, March 12th, Combined Family Devo
Join us for a combined devotional for everyone (kids included) in our Family Room at 7:00 pm, Scott Warner, speaker.
Freedom Church Celebration NEXT Sunday, March 16th
This will be the 10th anniversary and many alumni who were baptized into Christ right here at Westover will be returning, as well as current residents of the Austin Transitional Center. If your family would be willing to adopt a Freedom Church member for the morning (meet them, invite them to sit with you during worship, make them feel welcome) email Scott Warner.
Stone-Campbell Dialogue Meeting Sat., March 15th
You are cordially invited to attend the 7th Quarterly Meeting of the Greater Austin Area Stone-Campbell Dialogue to be held on Saturday, March 15, 2008, between 9-11:15am at the Georgetown Church of Christ located at 1525 West University Ave. in Georgetown, Texas.
No cost & a free breakfast will be served. Dr. Stan Reid, President of the Austin Graduate School of Theology, will be the primary
speaker. Please come and meet people who share our common
heritage, and bring a friend. Contact the Georgetown church for
reservations 863-3071, amy@gtxchurchofchrist.org, or Jeff
Bailey 329-6652.
Westover WBS needs teachers
Westover WBS is in dire need of more WBS teachers. Due to many factors our WBS teacher pool has drastically diminished. Having done a trial run in Zimbabwe where we furnished students with postage paid envelopes, we have been flooded with Zimbabwe students. This has increased our need for more teachers. If you are interested or have any questions, please contact Chuck Gentry.
Westover E-News
In order to better communicate and prevent duplication of emails from Westover, a church-wide listserve has been created for all Westover members. This e-news letter will be only used for announcements: 1) appropriate for the majority of our members and/or are of an urgent nature (i.e. changes due to inclement weather, etc...). If you are subscribed to a specific ministry's email list (i.e. children's ministry or youth), you will continue to receive those emails.
