Mark Hager Accident Update!
One of our members, Mark Hager, was struck by a car last Thursday while jogging. Please continue to be in prayer for Mark and the Hager family as the doctors work at helping him on the healing process.

Hager Family Meals & Support - how we can help...
Anita Chambers will be the Westover contact coordinating needs for the Hager family. The outpouring of care and concern and offers to help have been amazing and Tere is very grateful for your prayers and your offers to help. Mark is currently still in ICU at Brackenridge and his recovery will be lengthy. If you or your care group would like to help by providing meals, please e-mail Anita at chambers@ieee.org. She will add you to the e-mail list and will send out a sign-up for needs as they arise. Meals are covered through early next week. After that, emails will be sent to notify everyone what they need for the following week or two.
Today's Specific Prayer Request: Mark's Creatinine is down 1/10 of a point today. He's headed in the right direction! Please pray that those levels will continue to decrease. Normal levels are between .5 and 1.0 and he is at 3.5. Creatinine levels are indicators of healthy kidney function.
Two Weeks left for On-Line Directory photos!
Our volunteer photographers have taken over 600 photos for our secure on-line directory. In consideration of their time, we will only be taking photos the next two Sundays. Please come by if you haven't had your member photo taken in preparation for the launch of our new directory.
Sign-up at the enterprise display near the Family Room. Our volunteer photographers will be available before class (8:45-9:00am), between class and worship, (10:00-10:20am), and after worship.
Service Opportunity - Single needs help moving
Lynde Wilson needs help moving on Saturday, January 19, beginning at 9:00 A.M. She lives at 6702 Ester Dr., Austin 78750-8141(Go HERE for map). She is moving to a home near Metric and Braker. Lifeline Chaplaincy Involvement Seminar - Jan. 26th
Lifeline trains and supervises lay chaplains to visit the seriously ill and to provides support and benevolence to patients’ families. Help Wanted:
- Westover member Soraya Pourrajabi is looking for an In-Home Christian Daycare helper starting January 2, 2008. This is a part-time position 4½ hrs a day 8:30 AM to1:00 PM in the
Bee Cave Area.

- One hour of Childcare Wednesdays 6-7pm - The Dave Ramsey Financial Peace Class is needing assistance with childcare from 6-7pm before normal services on Wednesday nights. Help is needed Jan. 23rd through April 4th (with a break on March 12 for Spring Break). The childcare provider will need to ensure that the kids make it to their appropriate Wednesday night Bible class around 7:00. The parents will pick up their kids from the Bible classes at 8:00pm. Attendance for nine kids under the age of eight has been confirmed so far, with the possibility of more being added. This position will be paid $20 per week for that hour of childcare. In order to better communicate and prevent duplication of emails from Westover, a new church-wide listserve has been created for all Westover members. This e-news letter will be only used for announcements: 1) appropriate for the majority of our members and/or are of an urgent nature (i.e. changes due to inclement weather, etc...). If you are subscribed to a specific ministry's email list (i.e. children's ministry or youth), you will continue to receive those emails.
