On-Line Directory Launches Soon - get your photo taken today!

If you haven't had your member photo taken in preparation for the launch of our new secure on-line directory, please go by the black enterprise display near the Family Room. Volunteer photographers will be available before class (8:45-9:00am), between class and worship, (10:00-10:20am), and after worship.  We hope this will help us get to know each other better.

Preparing Ourselves and Helping Others:
    Grief Ministry Worshop!

Saturday January 12, 2008 from 8:30 am until 1:00 pm there will be a workshop on preparing ourselves and how to help others who are grieving.  This program will be in the family room.  Advanced registration would be appreciated.  Contact Bill Agnell at 345-4699 or e-mail at bill@agnell.com know if you wish to attend.

Lifeline Chaplaincy Involvement Seminar - Jan. 26th

Lifeline Chaplaincy hosted by Westover will be for a on Saturday, January 26th at 10:00 AM. Lifeline is a ministry of the churches of Christ which trains and supervises lay chaplains to visit the seriously ill in major hospitals in Houston’s Texas Medical Center and in Dallas, and to provide support and benevolence to patients’ families. Westover Hills is the primary congregation sponsoring this ministry’s expansion to Central Texas, and you are all asked to attend and learn about the benefits currently available to us and of opportunities for fulfilling service. Men's "One Pitch" Softball Team needs players!

Westover has been signed up for men's team in a local church league. Now we need players!!

League play begins next Monday (Jan. 7th) and goes thru early March

York College Choir Concert - Jan. 11th @7 pm

Everyone is invited to Westover for a concert by the York College Chior on Friday, January 11, 2008 at 7pm. This is part of their Winter Tour.

Financial Peace University - Jan. 9th & 16th

Join us for a life changing, Bible based, personal finance program beginning with a short video presentation on January 9th and 16th at 7pm in room C201. Come learn how to handle money God’s way! Sign up at the FPU table in the foyer.

In order to better communicate and prevent duplication of emails from Westover, a new church-wide listserve has been created for all Westover members. This e-news letter will be only used for announcements: 1) appropriate for the majority of our members and/or are of an urgent nature (i.e. changes due to inclement weather, etc...). If you are subscribed to a specific ministry's email list (i.e. children's ministry or youth), you will continue to receive those emails.
