Special Events

Special Events are offered throughout the year by Westover Children’s Ministry. Our desire is to provide opportunities for you and your family to grow closer to God, each other and those around you through these special events! This is sometimes done through creative partnering with other ministries such as outreach, youth, benevolence, InKind and others.

2012 Family Connection Events take place throughout the year: Mother & Son Night of Fun (January 14th), Mother Daughter Brunch (March 31st), Father Daughter Banquet (April 20th), and Father & Son Campout (May 4th-5th)! These are rich, Christ-centered opportunities for families to make memories and build closer relationships.
VBS is coming back...but it's undergone a make-over! More info about Shine! will be coming soon, but if you are in 1st-5th grades, mark your calendars for June 25th-29th. And if you're an adult who wants to help with prep and execution, let us know! Email Danielle at danielle.pierce@westover.org.

Krazy Praizy is a summer event designed for families with children up through Kindergarten. Krazy Praizy begins on Tuesday, June 19th, at 9:30 a.m. and runs through July 24th. Watch for the schedule coming out in May 2012. We also have a Krazy Praizy Spring party planned for March 10th and would love for you to party with us, KRAZY Praizy style!

VIP Camp is a summer camp for 2nd-5th graders. VIP Camp is held at Camp Hensel on June 3rd-6th, 2012. For more information, check out the VIP Camp 2012 brochure and application.
Fiesta at NACC is a service opportunity for all ages! We will have a special Summer Fiesta on June 18th - August 6th. This is a time when we serve shoulder to shoulder with the children and families that God has blessed us with in the neighborhood surrounding NACC.
