Our Mission

"Let the little children come to me, for of such as these is the Kingdom of Heaven!" Our mission is to introduce and nurture the relationships between God's children and his son Jesus Christ. Our prayer is to create a safe place where children seek to know Jesus and grow in love for the Word through partnering with parents and the Westover family. We want Westover Hills to be a place where children can develop and grow a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. We have three guiding principles:

1. Kids love to come and learn about God.
2. Volunteers are passionate about impacting children and their walk with Jesus as they are gifted to do so.
3. The children's ministry will support and encourage parents as they raise their children in the Lord.

There are many exciting things going on in the children's ministry! Led by Adam & Denise Black, our children's ministers, Westover offers a full range of children's classes and activities from Cradle Roll through Fifth Grade. When children enter Sixth Grade they become part of our Super Sixth Graders and then in Seventh they fully enter our Youth and Teen Ministry.
