KidSafe

The safety of our children is of utmost importance to our Westover family.  We have a child protection policy, KidSafe, which requires all volunteers to complete a certification process, as well as an on-line training class through MinistrySafe.  Every volunteer who works with your child is KidSafe certified and must wear a picture badge.

A note from our KidSafe Team:

Thank you for your interest in volunteering to work with our children and youth here at Westover Hills.  We ask that all prospective volunteers go through a certification process before working with our children. Please read and respond to the following information.

You will find three documents available for download below.  To begin your certification process,  we ask that you please do the following:

          ·        Read the KidSafe Policy which explains Westover’s expectations for workers with our

          youth.

          ·        Print and complete the Safety Application and return it to the church office.  Your

signature on this document gives us permission to do a background check.

          ·        Print, complete and sign the Code of Conduct and return it to the church office.

Once you have returned your two signed forms,  you will receive an email from MinistrySafe.  This email will contain a link to your online training video.  The training video and quiz require approximately 45 minutes to complete.  We will receive an email notification when you have successfully completed your training.

Following your training, one of the Westover KidSafe team members will give you a call to learn how you would like to serve in the Children’s and Youth ministries here at Westover Hills.1

Thank you again for you desire to volunteer with our children and youth.  Please call if you any questions or concerns.
