4/22. Ask God to open His floodgates on June 1, and bless our ministries with ample resources. Ask Him to deepen us spiritually through the next 40 days.
4/23. Pray for the Spiritual Formation ministry, that God will use this ministry to help transform us into the image of Jesus.
4/24. Pray for the needs and successes of our Care Groups. Thank God for the closeness and provision of Christian friends.
4/25. Ask God to bless those who faithfully serve by keeping the Building and Grounds safe and welcoming.
Ask God to soften your heart to know and understand the ministries of His church in ever new ways.
4/26. Pray for our missionaries in Central and South America, that they will know God’s strength and encouragement as they touch the lives he brings to them.
4/27. Ask God to be with the Multi-Media Ministries of this church, that each communication will honor Him and that He will empower their creative and technical skills to bless us.
4/28. Pray for World Bible School and the many people who have been brought to Christ through the time and generosity of its workers. Protect them and let them see God’s work and wonder in grand ways.
Pray that June 1st will be a day focused on giving our hearts and lives as offerings to Him.
4/29. Ask God to bless our partnership with North Austin Christian Church in our involvement and Outreach to the people living at the Chelsea Apartments, and in the neighborhood around NACC.
4/30. Pray for the Family Development Ministry including the Marriage Course and Financial Peace Course, for the insights, wisdom and changed hearts amidst so much conflict and hurt. Ask God to provide strength to those who are struggling and continued faithfulness to those who are strong.
5/1. Pray for the continued success of Leadership Training for Christ, asking God to provide continuity and blessing as it nurtures young leaders.
5/2. Ask God to bless the Missions Committee and our missionaries in foreign lands. Pray for those who travel on mission trips such as Olive Branch, Come Before Winter, The Baxter Institute, Youth Missions, and others. Pray for the ability of each to see open doors and ways to use talents God has given them.
Ask God to strengthen your faith in Him to provide for your needs and the needs of the church.
5/3. Pray for the expansive Children’s ministry and those who lead it. That each child will see the heart and love of Jesus in those who volunteer as teachers and leaders in it’s varied classes and programs. Pray for the physical, emotional and spiritual safety of the children entrusted to our care. Ask God to bless our KidSafe program that works to ensure a safe environment for children and teens.
5/4. Thank God for His work in the Singles and Sweet Spirit Singles ministries. Thank Him for the demonstration of integrity, wisdom and faith in those individuals who are both involved in and walking this path in life.
5/5. Ask God to work powerfully in the Involvement Ministry so that new members are able to be served and serve in ways that allow them to blossom. Pray for heart-to -heart friends for those who are new in our community.

Ask God to help you to trust His promises..
5/6. Pray for the many needs of the people in Africa. Ask that those involved in missions there are able to see God’s hand at work in even the most difficult situations. Pray that God’s workers will have peace beyond all understanding that He is in control.
5/7. Ask God to use the Benevolence ministry in powerful ways to meet people’s needs. Ask Him to bless its leaders and decision makers with wisdom and energy as they seek to minister and show the love of Jesus to families and individuals at a critical time in their lives
5/8. Pray that the Men’s Ministry will be empowered by the Holy Spirit and will grow to develop even more mature followers of Jesus who impact the world for Him. Ask God to deepen fellowship among men at Westover.
5/9. Thank God for the prayer ministry. Give thanks for its consistency, and for the tireless warriors who pray, lead and encourage others. Thank our Father that he hears and answers every prayer.
5/10. Offer a prayer of thanks for the Finance Committee and the ministry of using their gifts and skills to help Westover in the stewardship of resources.
5/11. Ask God to bless the children and staff at the Texas Children’s Home and for the privilege Westover has in partnering with God to share in this vital work.
Ask God to soften your heart to know, understand and value the varied ministries of this church in ever new ways.
5/12. Ask God to bless our Women’s Ministry with strong fellowship and instruction in His Word. Thank Him for ministries such as Mom to Mom, Full Circle, the Ladies Bible Study, and the Women’s Wednesday Night class. Ask that these will enable each woman to grow in her walk with the Lord.
5/13. Pray today for the continued growth and dedication of those in the International Ministry. Pray for effective outreach, understanding, acceptance and sensitivity across cultural and language barriers.
5/14. Ask God to bless our College Ministry and those servants who have a heart to reach and serve this significant part of the Austin Community. Ask God to bring fellow servants, creative ideas, and growth through outreach.
5/15. Ask God to continue to increase the effectiveness of our local Outreach into the Austin Community, and to increase our boldness and creativity as we seek to reach every person in Austin.
5/16. Offer thanksgiving for the Austin LifeCare ministry and its gentle care for vulnerable men and women. Ask God to continue to bring those individuals to a place in Austin where they are met with sensitivity, confidentiality and His powerful love.
Ask our Father in heaven to show you the sacrifices he wants you to make for His work.
5/17. Ask our Father to be with the Young Professionals ministry as they seek to build fellowship, develop service projects, deepen spiritually and provide new entry points for other “Young Pros”.
5/18. Ask God to provide good counsel through our professional Counseling offered at Westover. Ask Him for adequate funds for scholarships. Ask God to heal and repair those in our family who are in crisis situations.

5/19. Ask God to bless our Nursing Home ministry as members volunteer to touch the lives of those who face the many challenges of increasing age. Ask God to lighten their hearts, and give them hope and peace in knowing their future is with Him.
5/20. Ask God to bless our missionaries who are serving in the Far East. Pray for receptive hearts in those who hear their message, as well as a deepened walk with Christ for those who have come to faith through their ministries.
5/21. Thank the Father in Heaven for bringing growth in the numbers of those at Westover who are Deaf or Hearing Impaired. Boldly ask God to provide more interpreters so that every individual can be involved in all of the activities at Westover. Pray for a continued increase in the number of those who come to know Jesus.
Ask God to “pour out so much blessing” that we “will not have room enough for it.”
5/22. Give God the glory for the impact of Freedom Church on so many lives. Thank our Father for the hedge of protection he provides these new and renewed believers. Thank Him for giving them courage and new life.
5/23. Ask God to bless the launch of Lifeline Chaplaincy in Austin, and to bring an abundance of volunteer chaplains, servants, and resources to fund this ministry. Ask that he will lead His workers to people who will be blessed by Lifeline’s reaching out to them.
5/24. Ask God to bless our Elders and their wives and families. Ask him to bless them with abundant wisdom, that he will sustain them with strength and spiritual nourishment as they shepherd God’s flock at Westover.
5/25. Thank our Father that the hundreds of women and children in poverty and crisis have seen the love of Jesus because of the compassion and responsiveness of the InKind ministry. Ask God to continue to richly bless those who serve and those who receive.
5/26. Ask God to bless the service of our Welcome Ministry, those who Greet, Usher, staff the Welcome Center, make Gift Bags and tend the necessary details for creating a gracious environment for those God brings to Westover. Thank Him for a ministry focused on having every guest feel welcomed and valued.
5/27. Ask God to bless the work of our missionaries in Europe, that their work will be fruitful, and that they will be sustained and energized by His Holy Spirit.
Ask God to bless the dreams and plans he has given the ministry teams as they prayed over the strategies for this year’s ministry plans.
5/28. Give God thanks for those involved in our Grief Ministry who seek to support those in our church body and in our community who have experienced loss. Thank God for His perfect timing in scheduling these seminars this year.
5/29. Seek God’s continued blessing on the ministry to our Middle and High School students. Ask God to give our leaders wisdom, and through them to deepen our young people’s love for and service to Jesus.
5/30. Pray that the Church at Westover Hills will embrace and accept the many New Ministries that God places on its’ members’ hearts. Thank our Father that he has so perfectly placed you with this body of believers at this point in time.
5/31. Ask our Father to do tomorrow, Floodgate Sunday, more than we could even ask or imagine, and to amaze us with His power!
