Family Day - THIS Sunday March 30th
Join us THIS Sunday, March 30th for Family Day! We will center around the theme of "Rescue". Faith Conversations class will be for everyone from middle school - adult in the worship center at 9am sharp! Remember to sit together in both class and worship with your family or loved ones! After worship we will enjoy a church-wide potluck in the gym. Remember to bring a meal that will feed your family plus some to share! Hot food items and cold food items should be brought in separate ice chests. Don't forget your serving utensils!
Bridge Day - Sunday April 13th
We will be honoring teachers on Bridge Day. Invite your children's teachers from school or your neighbor that is a teacher! Email Scott Warner with any questions.

Donna Papagno of the University Church of Christ is heading up a group to go
to Branson by bus from September 22-26, 2008. If you are interested in taking this trip, please call Donna Papagno at 512-989-1498 for more details. A quick overview for rates… Rates for single occupancy to quad occupancy range from $848.00 per person to $647.00 per person. The more people in the room, of course, the cheaper it is. This is based on 30 paid guests. Rates based on 40 paid guests, range from single occupancy at $771.00 per person to $570.00 per person for quad occupancy. Not quite cheaper by the dozen, but more the merrier and cheaper when there are more occupants per room. There are also double and triple occupancy rates based on 30 or 40 paid guests. The trip will probably be booked through Travel Branson…internet address is….www.travelbranson.net to check further as to what is offered. Prices include meals, taxes and gratuities, plus taking care of the bus driver. **YOU WILL BE SEEING THE PASSION PLAY** a highlight of the trip.
Service Opportunity - Lima, Peru Orphanage
Several Westover members are travelling to Lima, Perus this summer to serve children in an orphanage. There are several ways you can help serve: 1) Donage cotton fabric for pillowcases, 2) Sew pillowcases and/or embroider on them "Jesus Loves Me", 3) Tuesday, April 8th will be a work day at Westover (10am) for anyone able to help in getting the crafts ready for the VBS that will be at the orphanage, 4) Spanish speakers needed to translate letters from our Westover kids and teens into Spanish for the children at the orphange. PALS Needed for Austin LifeCare
Please prayerfully consider becoming a PAL (Partners Affirming Life) with Austin LifeCare. A PAL is someone who is matched with a pregnant woman needing support during her pregnancy. Often these women have very little other support while they continue with a crisis pregnancy. This is an opportunity to minister to the physical, emotional and spiritual needs of women who may not know the love of Christ. You bring the love of Jesus in your heart and Austin LifeCare will provide the training! Please contact Kris Rhodes at 695.7870 or kdrhodes38@msn.com for additional information. In order to better communicate and prevent duplication of emails from Westover, a church-wide listserve has been created for all Westover members. This e-news letter will be only used for announcements: 1) appropriate for the majority of our members and/or are of an urgent nature (i.e. changes due to inclement weather, etc...). If you are subscribed to a specific ministry's email list (i.e. children's ministry or youth), you will continue to receive those emails.
