Bible Classes

Bible Classes are provided for all ages, birth to 5th graders on Sunday mornings (10:45-11:45 a.m.) and Wednesday nights (7:00-8:00 p.m.). Children are a priority to Jesus, and they are to us at Westover. It is important to teach them about God's love, the Bible and the story of Jesus and His grace, with age appropriate material.

  • Cradle Roll Classes and Nursery Care - We provide a fully staffed nursery for children, from birth through two years old, during Sunday morning worship. In our nursery, you will find nurturing caregivers who model God’s love by caring for our youngest members. We also make every effort to provide a clean, secure environment for the babies in our care. There is also a room for nursing mothers and sleeping babies.  The nursery is accessible from the lobby next to the special events display center.

  • Preschool Program is for 2 years thru Kindergarten.  Our purpose is to enrich your child's spiritual development and then to build relationships with caring teachers and other children their age. Click here to check out your child's lesson schedule for each week of Bible classes.
  • Elementary Program (Power Hour) Our Power Hour classes share God's Story with each child in a personal way. The best way to grow our children in their faith is to help them deepen their relationship with God and others. It is important to engage in relationships at all levels: teacher, parent and child, with the parent as the primary teacher.   • Teaching Opportunities

    The Children's Ministry team at Westover is like "one big family". If you are looking for a place to get "plugged in", if you love Jesus...and children, if you want to have fun - or all of the above, you need us and we need you! Teaching children is a rewarding way to impact young lives for the Kingdom of God! Our teachers are members who have attended Westover for at least six months, and who are KidSafe certified. (includes a MinistrySafe class and criminal background check) Due to the choice of worship services offered at Westover, you won't have to choose between "adult worship" and serving, as both are possible!
