We'd like to share a bit about ourselves since it's hard coming to visit someplace for the first time. After several years of prayer and planning, a group of fifty families started Westover Hills Church of Christ in January of 1972. While they had put down money for the property now located at the corner of Steck and Mesa, they met in nearby Hill Elementary school while the roads were being cut and the first building was built. From that small beginning, Westover has grown to be a congregation of over 1300 members and helped plant several area congregations as well as having satellite ministries in retirement homes and with halfway house inmates transitioning back into everyday society. We completed construction of our new worship center which opened April of 2000.
