Our Story

After several years of prayer and planning, a group of fifty families started Westover Hills Church of Christ in January of 1972. While they had put down money for the property now located at the corner of Steck and Mesa, they met in nearby Hill Elementary school while the roads were being cut and the first building was built. From that small beginning, Westover has grown to be a congregation of approximately 1350 in weekly attendance and has helped plant several area congregations as well as having satellite ministries in retirement homes and with halfway house inmates transitioning back into everyday society. Our current worship center opened in April 2000.
