Westover Hills church of Christ and the Family Development Ministry Team offer The Marriage Course as an opportunity for couples to work together to strengthen and invest in their relationship in a non-intimidating atmosphere. The Marriage Course is a series of seven sessions designed to help any married couple whether you've been married one year or thirty. It doesn’t judge the condition of a marriage. The goal is to take a marriage at the state it is currently in and make it better. It's a very practical course and will help equip couples with the tools needed to build a healthy marriage that lasts a lifetime.
Each week couples are given the opportunity to enjoy a candlelight meal together and listen to a talk. Then, there is time to discuss the topic as a couple. There is no group work involved at any stage of the course.
The $140 cost for The Marriage Course covers meals and materials for the participants, which equates to $20/evening. On-site child care and activities for children are provided. Participation is limited. While the course is based on Christian principles, couples are welcome with or without a church background.
